Senior Fire Risk Assessor 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's growing project management business.

This respected and established consultancy organisations works with projects across the building lifecycle, including fire strategies, risk assessments, compliance and dispute resolution as part of their award-winning multidisciplinary team.

We are looking for a Senior Fire Risk Assessor to conduct fire risk assessments across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, leveraging cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing fire risk assessments and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with clients to coordinate inspections and remedial works.
  • Providing advice on building regulations and fire safety matters.
  • Preparing schedules, specifications, and overseeing work progress.
  • Auditing Fire Risk Assessors and validating their assessments.

Key Requirements

  • Expertise in fire safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) and technical standards as well as an understanding of current fire safety issues, trends and best practice.
  • Minimum Level 4 or 5 qualification in fire risk management/assessment or fire engineering.
  • Completion of an IFE-approved fire risk assessment course.
  • Registered Fire Risk Assessor via IFE, FRACS, or IFSM (Ideally Tier 3 or higher).
  • Experience as a Validator under the BAFE SP205-1 Scheme.
  • Proven track record in fire risk assessment across various premises.
  • Full driving license.
  • Willing to travel to sites around Birmingham, Solihull and surrounding areas.
